NetWatch Joins Science Based Targets Initiative

We are pleased to announce that we have joined the Science Based Targets initiative and committed to targets for near term and long term emissions reductions, as well as net-zero targets.

The climate emergency remains the biggest challenge of our time, and at NetWatch we take our commitment to the environment and to sustainability seriously. This is why we are pleased to announce that we have joined the Science Based Targets initiative and committed to the below targets for near term and long term emissions reductions, as well as net-zero targets:

NetWatch Global commits to reduce scope 1 and scope 2 GHG emissions 42% by 2030 from a 2022 base year, and to measure and reduce its scope 3 emissions. NetWatch Global commits to reach net-zero by 2050. As part of this, NetWatch Global commits to reduce scope 1+2+3 emissions 90% by 2050 from a 2022 base year.

These targets have been validated by the SBTi service, and we have committed to publicly reporting our metrics each year to ensure alignment with these goals. We are pleased to be joining the 5,668 other companies taking action through the Science Based Targets initiative and we look forward to our journey to net-zero.

We will continue to use 100% renewable energy, continue to divert 100% of our waste from landfill and continue to encourage staff to think critically about their own carbon footprint and what they can do in and out of the office to reduce this. Our commitments are shown below, and you can find us on the SBTi dashboard HERE.
