Job Description

You will join our vibrant team as an Intelligence Analyst and learn the skills to become a specialist in online and social media intelligence.

As an Intelligence Analyst your key responsibilities are likely to include those listed below, although this is not exhaustive.

  • Analysing and compiling intelligence into comprehensive written reports in a target driven environment.
  • Researching social networking sites to build up a lifestyle analysis of individuals suspected of being involved in fraudulent claims.
  • Online investigations to establish the movements and whereabouts of individuals so that surveillance can be utilised to best effect.
  • Identifying and locating individuals who may have witnessed any road or personal injury accidents so that the client can obtain statements to assist when deciding upon liability and reserve.
  • Investigations into online networks with the aim of establishing any links between parties which could suggest fraud.
  • Utilising in-house NetWatch software to provide a range of bespoke services to clients in various industries.
  • Utilising a variety of databases, public records and intelligence tools & techniques to obtain information on subjects and attribute social networking accounts to them.

The Organisation

NetWatch Global is the largest and most successful open-source investigation company in the UK. We specialise in providing powerful and actionable intelligence which clients either rely on to make effective decisions or as evidence in court. NetWatch analysts assist in a range of areas from identifying new witnesses that the police are unaware of, to proving the true scale of a claimant’s injuries for insurance clients, or even cracking large counterfeiting networks for FMCG partners.

NetWatch Global are experts in online investigation and social media intelligence. Our in-house software development team have created a bespoke tool suite, which provides us with enhanced methods of locating hard-to-find online data. The tool suite is regularly updated and improved, meaning we are at the cutting edge of OSINT trends and developments.

Requirements

  • Excellent grasp of written and spoken English
  • 2.1 degree (non-STEM disciplines preferred) or valuable industry experience in a fraud detection role
  • Office-based experience preferred
  • Experience working in a target driven environment preferred
  • Good understanding of online social networking sites and online trends
  • Strong IT Skills

Benefits Package

Salary: £21,000 per annum plus monthly bonuses

Working Hours

Rapid Police Reports (RPR) – Service Manager

NetWatch have identified the need to take on a full-time manager for their recently launched Rapid Police Reports service, which has seen significant growth post-launch around 18 months ago and has a high growth trajectory planned for the next 18 months!

To date, this service has been successfully managed by a member of our analyst team alongside other responsibilities, but as the service scales it is important that it gets the full-time management that it needs – and our analyst can return to what she loves most.

As such we’re looking to recruit someone that can help us take it to the next level, ensuring that we deliver a fantastic service to our insurance clients and don’t miss opportunities for growth and additional revenue.

Job Description

You will be responsible for our growing Rapid Police Reports service, an online platform which allows insurers to order evidence quickly and easily from the police in high volumes.

After a hand-over period with the existing manager in which you will learn the ins and outs of the service, you will report into the Chief Operating Officer, and key responsibilities will include those listed below:

  • Line management of administration staff working in the RPR team
  • Ensuring that all client requests are fulfilled within agreed service levels
  • Drafting management information in the form of charts, reports & dashboards, and reporting at monthly management meetings
  • Day to day monitoring of service delivery and resource allocation, addressing any issues or challenges as they arise
  • Interacting with clients and colleagues to resolve any queries or issues daily
  • Interacting with police forces to ensure consistent service delivery
  • Contributing to the continual improvement of the online platform by making suggestions for development
  • Ensuring all upsell opportunities with clients are acted on to deliver service revenue targets
  • Work with your team to ensure that we produce at least twice monthly updates for clients in the form of website articles, or newsletter updates – discussing new feature releases or points of interest
  • Do your best to provide growth and development opportunities for your direct reports

We expect the successful candidate to actively take part in the day to day running of the service, and assist with tasks at all levels in order to both learn how things work and pitch in to help the team deliver.

Requirements

  • Ideally the successful candidate will have experience working in a high-volume technical service delivery role.
  • Valuable experience in a role which involves an element of people management.
  • A candidate with experience working in a relevant sector is preferred. For example: insurance claims, policing, investigation or employment vetting.
  • Strong IT skills are essential.
  • Excellent grasp of written and spoken English.
