The Role

In October 2020 NetWatch launched its Rapid Police Reports service. Using our in-house built platform, reports and evidence are easily ordered from the police on behalf of insurance clients to help them make informed decisions. The service has proven highly successful and has grown at an exponential rate. As a result, we are looking for an Administration Assistant to join our company to help with the day-to-day running of this service as well as providing effective administrative support to the wider company. You will be provided with full training and ongoing support to help you settle into this role.

Progression: The RPR team consists of 14 staff members, with opportunities for advancement to Senior Administrator positions. Also, several of our previous administration staff have progressed into analyst roles with the company, therefore this role may also interest those who are looking to get their foot on the ladder in the world of open-source intelligence.

Job Description

As an Administration Assistant, your key responsibilities will include those listed below, although this is not an exhaustive list:

  • Core responsibilities include: handling post, processing cheques, facilitating payments, booking-in instructions, sending reports and extracting key information, requesting, and sending other items of evidence to clients.
  • Liaising with insurance clients and police forces through effective communication via email and telephone to request documentation and resolve any queries.
  • Conducting quality assurance checks to ensure data is inputted correctly.
  • Supporting colleagues and the wider administration team whenever necessary.

Requirements

  • 3 x A Levels C or above or equivalent required
  • 5 x GCSE at C or above or equivalent, including Maths and English required
  • 2 Years office-based experience preferred
  • Ability to adapt to using new database systems
  • Competent at utilising MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with clients over the phone
  • Excellent written communication skills for corresponding with clients over email
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt, re-prioritise and multi-task with ease
  • Strong sense of accuracy and attention to detail

General Information

  • IMPORTANT: Please note that the first 3 months of this role is office-based and will require the successful candidate to be within a commutable distance to Birmingham City Centre. There may then be remote working opportunities later.

Job Description

You will join our vibrant team as an Intelligence Analyst and learn the skills to become a specialist in online and social media intelligence.

As an Intelligence Analyst your key responsibilities are likely to include those listed below, although this is not exhaustive.

  • Analysing and compiling intelligence into comprehensive written reports in a target driven environment.
  • Researching social networking sites to build up a lifestyle analysis of individuals suspected of being involved in fraudulent claims.
  • Online investigations to establish the movements and whereabouts of individuals so that surveillance can be utilised to best effect.
  • Identifying and locating individuals who may have witnessed any road or personal injury accidents so that the client can obtain statements to assist when deciding upon liability and reserve.
  • Investigations into online networks with the aim of establishing any links between parties which could suggest fraud.
  • Utilising in-house NetWatch software to provide a range of bespoke services to clients in various industries.
  • Utilising a variety of databases, public records and intelligence tools & techniques to obtain information on subjects and attribute social networking accounts to them.

Requirements

  • Excellent grasp of written and spoken English
  • 2.1 or above degree or valuable industry experience in a fraud detection role
  • Office-based experience preferred
  • Experience working in a target driven environment preferred
  • Good understanding of online social networking sites and online trends
  • Strong IT Skills

Salary

Salary: £21,525 per annum plus monthly bonuses

Earning Potential in Year One:

  • 1k pay rise at successful passing of 6-month probation
  • Uncapped bonus earning potential from 6 months onwards
  • Potential earnings of £22.5-23k in year one
